Nedra Robinson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Public Administration both from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has over 15 years of experience in education where she served as a program coordinator, middle school mathematics teacher, mathematics department chair, and a math coach. During her career, she taught a diverse group students from at-risk to gifted and talented, and in 2010, she was named “Campus Teacher of the Year”. Nedra’s teaching experience further sparked her interest social welfare policy, civic engagement as well as community and economic development, and educational policy. As such, she left teaching and became a political staffer for a state representative with the Texas House of Representatives.
